How to Trade the NFL on Kalshi

Trading the NFL on a prediction market is simpler than it sounds: you buy shares in an outcome at a price that reflects its probability, and sell or settle later. Here is how to go from zero to your first NFL trade.

Five steps to your first trade

  1. Open an account. Sign up through our link so the new-trader $10 offer attaches automatically, then make your first deposit.
  2. Find an NFL market. Pick a market: the Super Bowl winner, a division, or a single game. Our odds and matchup pages show where the market sits.
  3. Read the price as a probability. A team at 18¢ implies roughly an 18% chance. If your read is higher than the price, that is your edge.
  4. Place your first trade. Buy Yes or No shares at the current price. Start small while you learn how fills and settlement work.
  5. Manage the position. Sell to lock in a gain or cut a loss as the price moves, or hold to settlement, where winning shares pay $1.
